Mentor Leadership Training Course

You chose:

answer a "What a great goal, Ron! Go for it. Don't worry about accessibility. Because of ADA all colleges have to be accessible; they all have to provide services. You'll have a great time."

This is NOT the correct answer.

The mentor does not use the ASK strategy to help Ron find the information he needs to solve his problem. The mentor:

  • does not focus on what Ron is saying
  • does not help Ron find the information that he needs to meet his goal
  • reacts quickly without helping Ron make an effective plan
  • does not ask questions to help Ron describe his goal and describe why it is an important goal
